This is not a perfect album, nor has it been a perfect year. While recording it, our thoughts consisted of our first instincts - first action, first thought, and first feeling are what you’ll hear on this album.

Three quarters of us recorded the music for this album earlier this year. There are minimal overdubs. Each instrumental track was spontaneously written and simultaneously recorded, and the first or second take was chosen. The same goes for the content of the lyrics and the vocal takes themselves.

Like many of you, as we are confronted with isolation in any form - we are challenged to hear the sound of our own thoughts. These thoughts may come and go spontaneously within your daily life as well - perhaps even while listening to our album. Please know that we felt the same way while constructing it.

This album is a product of what the sum of us are together under extreme circumstances. Even though he could not participate, this album is as much for Jeff as it is for all of us. Despite this dumpster fire of a year, we remain together. We all share a common goal - to live, love, and to be loved.
